golden-perception asked: Thanks! I got the ELF one. ELF makeup is amazing, I swear, if only for the price!
You’re welcome :)
Some of their products are kind of iffy (and their nail polish smells terrible) but I’m so cheap that I just can’t pass them up. Eyeshadow primer is like my favorite thing in existence. It’s almost life-changing.
Their brushes aren’t bad either, in case you ever need any!

golden-perception asked: What kind of eyeshadow primer stuff do you recommend?
On the high end, I love Urban Decay’s Primer Potion. I’ve only ever tried it in the original formula but people really love the other shades you can get it in. Too Faced’s Shadow Insurance also seems to be really popular and I think it might be a couple of dollars cheaper. They’re both available at Sephora and some department stores and probably Ulta, but I have no local Ultas so I can’t tell :(
If you don’t feel like spending $18+ on primer, recommend ELF’s primer. It works basically just as well as the UD and it’s only $1! You can find ELF at some Targets and Walmarts and online.
ELF and UDPP come packaged in little tubes with a doe-foot applicator and I think Shadow Insurance come in a little tube that you squeeze out.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain
(Costs approximately $7)
For me, this is another big hit from Revlon! These neat little lippies are unique to the drugstore world, and are rather similar to Clinique Chubby Sticks or Tarte Lipsurgence. These are a roll-up, crayon-shaped lip stain that goes on opaque and slightly glossy. There is a subtle minty scent that does fade rather quickly. Although these are meant to be a balm as well as a stain, the moisturizing factor isn’t superb… but this is made up in longevity! The color goes on evenly, and stays on evenly without fading for around six hours.. which is substantial for any lip product, especially one under ten dollars!
There are twelve beautiful shades, from pretty pinks, to corals and deep reds. The color itself goes on just a tad brighter than the packaging may imply, but the texture is very nice, and it is very easy to apply.
Overall I give these a big Thumbs Up! Try one out, they’re perfect for summer.
